I’m a working pro photographer and I’ve rented this style backdrop stand several times and just got fed up and decided to buy. The Inspironi backdrop stand seemed to fit what I needed. The price was right, too. For the cost of one rental, I could have owned this stand. Now I do.
Shipping from Vancouver mounts was super swift. Unfortunately, a couple of the parts were damaged and one of the zippers on the bag failed. No problem, though. Just two emails later, replacements parts were on the way – along with an apology. This company believes in great customer service.
The stands are sturdier than I would expect at this price and the sectioned support pole is versatile and as well-made as any I’ve rented in Toronto.
Of course you could spend more – but why? This is a great product and I have a few $$ left over to buy another muslin backdrop or two.
This stand should give the casual or pro photographer years of use if you care for it properly.
